Paolo Bacigalupi wins Nebula award

With his first SF Novel, The Windup Girl, Paolo Bacigalupi has won this years Nebula Award for best novel. The best novella award was won by Kage Baker's The Women of Nell Gwynne and Joe Haldeman was honoured as a Grand Master. For further information see http://www.nebulaawards.com/.

China Miéville wins 3rd Arthur C Clarke Award

China Miéville has become the first author to win the prestigious Arthur C. Clarke Award on three separate occasions. His novel The City & The City was one of six novels shortlisted for the Award, the UK’s premier prize for science fiction literature. See http://www.clarkeaward.com/ for further information.
